It was first published in paperback by Tor Books in 1984. Conan the Destroyer is the sequel to Conan the Barbarian. It is not as well made as Conan the Barbarian. It is still a fun movie. By modern standards it is almost a B-movie. Back in the 80s though movies like this were state of the art fantasy films. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Conan once again in this sequel. Based on a character created by Robert E. Howard, this fast-paced, occasionally humorous sequel to Conan the Barbarian features the hero (Arnold Schwarzenegger) as he is commissioned by the evil.
